Pet Policy
All household pets must be registered with the administration office and are the sole responsibility of the resident-owner of the pet and the following guidelines apply:
- All pets must be registered with administration and a full record of immunization will be required for the safety of the community;
- Large dogs are strictly forbidden on compound property, all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and droppings are to be picked and disposed of by the pet owner. Failure to do so may result in clean-up fees being imposed upon the pet owner and, in extreme cases, the resident may be required by management to dispose of the pet with no further liability to compound ownership.
- Playgrounds, swimming pools, and garden areas are strictly off-limits for all pets.
- All pets should be collared with an ID tag identifying the residential unit number.
- For health reasons, no birds are to be kept as pets inside villas or apartments.
- Pet owners are solely responsible for ensuring that their pet does not create a disturbance, make a nuisance of itself or create a sanitary and hygiene issue that may affect the quality of life of compound residents.
- Periodically, the Pest Control contractor will be called upon to remove feral, stray, or unwanted cats from our premises as these animals may pose a health hazard to our community. All residents will be notified in advance of the date of the contractor’s visit so that residents may take the appropriate preventive measures such as making sure their pet’s collar ID is in place.
- Compound Management reserves the right at any time to insist upon the immediate and permanent removal from compound grounds of any household pet that management deems to be unsupervised, allowed to roam free on the compound premises, a potential threat to residents, or a nuisance to the environment.
- Compound Management cannot be held liable or responsible in any way for any harm, injury, removal-permanent or otherwise-or fatality of a household pet that may occur on compound premises and not under the care and supervision of its owner or assigned representative. Essentially, the pet owners are liable for any harm, injury, or damage to residents/general public or property that their pet causes. The compound management will ask the pet owners to remove that from the compound premises immediately and permanently. This also applies if the pet attack/bites another domestic pet animal.
- Compound Management cannot be held responsible in any way for any harm, injury, or fatality to their pet that may occur on the compound premises.
